I am trying to forward email from Gmail account to Hotmail account / outlook.com.
This is being sent but I never receive email in outlook.com.
If I send email from Gmail to Hotmail account / outlook.com I have no issues.
If I forward from Hotmail account /outlook.com to Gmail I have no issues.
Forwarded email is not going into junk folder.
Has anybody encountered this issue and know how to resolve issue ?

Just a note, Hotmail and Outlook.com have been merged into Outlook – free personal email and calendar from Microsoft, took them awhile. Outlook.com was supposed to replace Hotmail years ago and in anticipation of that ended up with an account in both.
I misread your question, and thought you meant automatic forwarding.

Do you use direct access to your account with a browser or do you use an app?
Well, kindly pardon me, I see too many times on forums where there is apparent confusion between Outlook [part of Office and available as stand-alone] and Outlook.com [Webmail].
Late last night I check my Gmail and forwarded to both Hotmail and Outlook.com, didn't have an issue, but they were simple messages, no video or other type attachments included.
Sometimes Microsoft Exchange gets in the way but I haven't used it for many years.
