Chrome Extension To Copy Embedded Video URL

Is there a Chrome extension that can copy the URL of an embedded video or open the URL in a new window? With Internet Explorer, you just had to right click the video and select "create shortcut" and send to the desktop. With Chrome it seems to be a very long winded affair to locate the URL in the developer code under "web tools" Is there an easier way?

    Kind regards

You should be able to just highlight the URL bar, and drag it to the desktop. It works with websites, so I think it should work with video URLs too.

Bobby, thank you for your reply. The problem is how to find the url. Once I have the url, then I can make a shortcut using the method you have described. Some embedded videos will open in a new window just by clicking on them; then I have the url... no problem. However not all embedded videos do this. Internet Explorer has a feature to find the url (right click, create shortcut on desktop). What I am looking for is an easy way to find the url using chrome without using Internet explorer.

    Kind regards
