    Bitdefender Password Manager??

I use Bitdefender Total Security. I got an email from them about their password manager. Anyone use this one and care to comment? It is relatively new. It hasn't even cracked the top ten at Tom's or PC Mag.

    Hello @phaedruspress,

    Was it a genuine email?

I only say this because I got a LOT of emails from McAfee and Norton recently, neither of which I have!

Yes. Even if I was interested in getting it I would not go through the email. I would log into my account and do it that way.

I haven't read any test of bitdefender password manager, what I know is that it doesn't work with their safepay web browser, only their wallet works with safepay.

I focused on password managers that autofill windows desktop application logins. I chose roboform free, I have no synchro. between devices but auto-filling windows apps works pretty well.

A list of some password managers that have autofill windows applications (probably for mac applications too):

-keeper (Free version for 1 mobile device. Be careful in the comparison between the paid version and this free mobile version, on the auto-fill functionality of the fields, there is a cross!)

-lastpass (in the free version there is no longer synchronization between windows device and android, but synchro. between windows device, and between android device)

    -password boss
    -sticky password
    -roboform
    -keepass

If you are interested in application autofill ask bitdefender.
I used avast password free but as it is at the end of its life, EOL, before it is no longer available I am testing password managers. So far I've only tested roboform.

Kindly let me know by message once you check lastpass and if you give bitwarden a looksee. TIA.

I will try to inform you.

For bitwarden there is a long thread from users and future users asking for autofilling windows apps. You look at the penultimate post, this feature is in their roadmap:

Auto-type/Autofill for logging into other desktop apps - Feature Requests - Bitwarden Community Forums

Autofilling of windows applications in lastpast seems to be stopped, in the lastpass forum a person complained that the 3 hotkeys to fill in user and password fields didn't work anymore, a person from lastpass asked his team, and shortcut keys have been removed from the lastpass desktop application. I'm going to check myself anyway.
