Edge opens with a BLANK page

I have been using MS edge for a long time now and it always opened with a home page. Now all of a sudden it opens with a blank page and I need to click on the home icon to get to the home page. I looked into settings to see if I could set it to start up with the home page, but the IP address for the home page is no longer displayed - there is no way to copy it and tell Edge to open with the home page.

Anyone have a solution other that Chrome or Firefox? :-(

I have a Home Button and I played around with the settings. Finally I selected when Edge starts open the new tab page and that set things back to normal. As to what caused this problem, I won't be wasting any time trying to figure that out.
