so I need help locating a specific day's browser history in microsoft edge but am having issues with this, given how I have months worth of history for this year.
I'm looking for one specific page so I can recover an image in its native resolution that I accidentally formatted incorrectly for my new ipad ^^;
For Firefox,
- click on the 3lines menu icon in the top-right corner
- click on History
- click on Manage history
For Edge,
- click on the … 3dots menu icon in the top-right corner
- click on History
- click on the All header and you'll see them all grouped by days & arranged in descending date order.
And, just for completeness,
IE's history is stored in the folder
It is grouped by days [for this week] then grouped by weeks for the rest.Code:C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History

considering I use my browser EVERY single day and I know what I want is way back in january....is there a plugin/extension that will let me browse specific history dates available for chromium?
Try the following Nirsoft utility which also allows narrowing down the Edge history (amongst other Browsers) to Dates 'and' Times either together or separately eg. view history between say 8am and 10am but only between say 1st Jan 22 and 10th Jan 22).

oh you guys are going to LOVE this...I just checked tumblr this morning(where I suspected the wallpaper came from) and found it two minutes in...and then almost right afterwards, got the alert for this thread. I only just got to the computer to post my results.
