    Ie 11 rip

I was doing some checks on an old folder. My link to IE was in there, I clicked and got Edge. RIP IE, you lasted well before Bill gave you cancer.

IE 11 is still there until EOL June 2022, and the rendering engine is there until 2029 as in the Edge Internet Explorer mode.

My IE shortcuts still open IE 11

I dont use Edge at all but did use IE11 now and then, but not for a long time. What did anger me was I tried to open something in July and it told me it was unobtainable because it needed IE11 to open it. I think it was Photoshop Elements 2019. I ended up having to buy PSE 2022 to do what I need to do. (imagery stuff). MS had no right to end a third party software with consultation. Someone from Adobe agreed with me. Whatever, it fixed now.

I think the terms of the EULA would apply since we only bought/got a license to use their program, didn't buy the program itself. And as I recall we did have notice that IE was going away, third-party programmers most likely got the same information.

Hi Berton, yes, I bought the software outright, both with life licences. If adobe knew IE11 was going away, and they know who are registered with them, then they should have warned me, and others, that there may be problems and that Adobe would/should fix it. To buy a 2019 life licence is a bit of a scam then?

If you have a lifetime license, does that not cover product upgrades?

Would you not expect a large company like Adobe to update their product as necessary, so such issues are dealt with for you?
