Microsoft Edge not opening with specific page.

Windows Ver: 21H2 (OS Build 19044, 1586)

Hi,
Whenever I open Microsoft Edge it now opens with the new tab page, instead of my specific page.
This has only been happening the last 2 days, and I have not added or updated anything on my PC.
I have tried 2 suggestions on the Microsoft site of adding another specific page, then deleting one of them (did not work), and then deleting all processes of Microsoft Edge in Task Manager and rebooting (did not work).
It has been fine for years, and I do not understand why this is now happening.
Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Hello @Booms,

Very strange!

I do NOT use Microsoft Edge myself. Sometimes changes happen WITHOUT the users knowledge. Have you got a System Restore Point PRIOR to this happening that you could try? . . .

Use https instead of http.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I tried System Restore first, but after a long wait, that failed to complete.
Strangely, though, after that Edge is now opening with my specified page.
So, all good now, but not really sure what happened, lol.
