This was my favorite.
Before it was Firefox it was Phoenix.
Gina, had to say I really like your siggie. "Without trust you have nothing"
I love the FF icon and some of their wallpaper also.
That is not true, in my case at least Vivaldi uses almost twice as much RAM as for instance my default Maxthon or IE. I have been interested in Vivaldi from the day it was released and tested this quite often with various browsing scenarios.
See the below screenshot, click it to enlarge. Yellow = IE, Blue = Maxthon, Green = Vivaldi. All browsers been on about half an hour, for test purposes I have all this time browsed exactly the same way using all three, opened same pages in all of them:Kari

Good information and thanks for the update on that. I was originally just comparing Vivaldi to FF and not to either IE or Maxthon. Seeing the results you posted shows that both IE/Maxthon use less RAM than Vivaldi.
Jeff
I do not use Firefox, never liked it, that's why I can't compare it. Anyway, in every scenario I have tested IE uses at least third less RAM than Vivaldi.
I have never really like IE and to top it off I took an online class and the grading/coding tool they used would not work properly in IE so we had to use either FF or Chrome. When Spartan(or whatever the final name is) comes out I really want to try it out and see how good it is so I might not have to install a third party browser from then on.
Jeff :)
