There is not allot of deference between google bookmarks and Internet explorer favorites if you delete all of the built in favorites folders except the favorites bar folder,
Then simply make a folder called Bookmarks and save everything to it,
Rename the same way as google's
Manage favorites and Sort By Name and viola you have Google Bookmarks in ie...

Firefox in win-10 was very slow for me
I haven't used Chrome in a while and I was never really impressed by it as it's a resource hog

PM 25.0.2 (64 bit) seems quite fast running on my W10 VM.

I've always found it strange that people "wax lyrical" about Chrome (and its resource usage).

The way I browse (minimum of 20 open tabs) Chrome uses far more RAM than FF (or PM).
Once I had >200 tabs open in FF.

An interesting thing I've noticed on my PC is that FF uses far less RAM running on LM17 than it does on Windows.

I'm starting to use Pale Moon more often now, occasionally I'll use IE11 but that's too unpredictable these days on 10 as well as 7 and 8.

IE is just fine. All this browser stuff is just a matter of choice IMO.
From a webmaster/designer point of view IE should be scrapped, it's just not compliant with the way all the other browsers do things and causes all sorts of problems.

BTW for all our sites the best browser to use is firefox.
Yep, thats for almost all web designers. I am also a designer/developer but Chrome and Mozilla FF never inspired me at all. I think choosing Chrome and FF is a bad choice for web developers. If we just consider overall, we may get Chrome with high users. But if we take a simple survey, we will find that most of the users (Excluding experts/web devs) uses Chrome and FF for using FB, Youtube, etc.

If all web designers will choose to design and test with Chrome and FF then users of other browsers will suffer due to low quality design. I think for designers, best choice is to design and test with other browsers other then Chrome and FF. Choosing browsers like Opera, IE, Pale moon, Maxthon, etc are best for web designing. And later they can just test and support their designs with FF and chrome.
Whatever I am telling is true. Many users suffers due to the web designs which are designed only for Chrome and FF. I see many people asking on IE forums, opera support that they are suffering from the bad behavior of browsers because they are not loading web designes properly. And finally, they will blame Web Browser developers.

    Anyways, just choice matters, IMO.

    Too easy to do

The way I browse it's just too easy to do.

For example, I log in here, open the threads in my CP and any that look interesting in the News & General sections (~10 tabs).
Additionally, I sometimes log in to SevenForums at the same time and open the same type of tabs there (now I'm up to ~20 tabs).

If you think that's bad, you don't want to see what happens when I go to TV Tropes.
Going there puts an end to any other activities I had planned for the rest of the day.

    I've avoided updating to IE11 (in W7).

IE10 doesn't seem too bad, even though I only open it very rarely.
If I'm having Internet issues, I sometimes try opening an address in IE10, to check how it responds.

OK, John. From a webmaster/designer point of view perhaps. You would know more about that than anyone.

I have had no problems using IE in your sites even before you recently changed 10F over to the new forum software and did your tweaking. Even at that the only problem I had prior was with the upload file manager would not show “from computer” every now and then, but would always work in advanced. I find the new file manager much better and works great. I do miss the insert from Word function, though, but understand why you would pull it for safety reasons.

Bottom line is I dislike all browsers really. They are absolutely not keyboard user friendly whatsoever, especially in the body of the page. They force me to use too much of the rat mouse. Headers and favorites I can pretty much get around in, but the body, forget it.

Sometimes I wonder if it is the hardware that cause issue with the browser. In a lot of browser this is checked by default "use hardware acceleration when available" I know I had issues on my windows xp when this was checked.

When I was trying the W8 betas there was an issue with FF that was caused by that setting.
