A bigger issue is the awful new default Search box setup in Firefox.
To restore a proper Search box, you need to change the config settings:
- Type about:config in the Address bar
- Type oneoff in the search box on the config page
- Change the value of browser.search.showOneOffButtons from true to false
There's a new browser in town created by Maxthon.. Nitro browser. It looks very neat and it looks like a native Win 10 browser the way it was graphically designed.
I am trying it right now while posting this. Installation took only around 30sec on Win 10.

Yeah, I came across the alpha version before but didn't pay much attention to it. But I am using Maxthon on Windows Phone. Great browser.
This Nitro browser is like in it's sandbox. It almost doesn't interfere with your system. Just minding it's own business unlike IE for example which hogs your system resource a lot.
This is the first time I fired up IE on 10041 just to check what you said. Chrome has extensions installed. And Nitro is newly installed.
Here's how they use system resources at idle:
Another thing I don't like about IE is it's constant scanning of the PC which somehow affects the PC performance. It seems that it integrates itself with the OS all the time.
Hi,
