Information cards gone

Anyone notice they are suddenly missing in the default ms page all of a sudden? Whenever I open edge it defaults to the ms page with lots of news articles. Plus info about weather, local traffic, sports results / fixtures on right hand side. Now just seeing a few tiles for news. I went into settings on the page and ensure the information cards are enabled still.

i am not referring to the taskbar thing which if hovered over throws up a window with info like that. That’s still normal. It’s the default edge ms page I am specifically referring to. Has MS in their infinite wisdom eradicated the cards there? I found it quite useful

Right-click on the Start Windows Start button button in the lower-left corner and select “Apps and Features“.

Scroll through the list until you find “Microsoft Edge”, click it, and then click on the “Advanced options” link.

The “Advanced Options” screen will now be displayed. Scroll down until the “Reset” section is visible, as shown in the example below. Next, click on the “Reset” button.

The database for Edge might be corrupt, try going into settings and then select clear browser data, untick what you don't want.

Meanwhile, clear cookies and reset Microsoft Edge may fix this problem either.

Thanks. It must of been an issue MS side. Just tried it again a few hours later and back to normal without having to do a thing
