I clicked from-tab-to-tab, until something caused Microsoft Edge to run slow, as far as I can see. It was not an Internet issue. Also, it was not the other programs that caused Microsft Edge to run slow. It was Microsoft Edge itself.Microsoft Edge also freezes, even when I clicked from-tab-to-tab or let Microsoft Edge load something.
I would like to uninstall and reinstall the base Chromium Edge a different way.

    1. Backup all your Edge Favorites (links) and Bookmarks.
    2. Follow this procedure exactly but ignore the last paragraph with the Blocker Toolkit.

How to completely uninstall Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 - OnMSFT.com

Once done, download and run CCleaner portable (x64) and scan the registry for leftover entries and clean them. Ignore the prompt to backup your registry.

(Download here: Builds - Last one listed on the page.)

Then reboot and reinstall Edge via Windows Update.

Configure, and as per my post above, adjust the settings just on that one page and then check.

If OK, restore your Favorites (links) and Bookmarks.
Delete the CCleaner Portable build if you so desire.

    Post back with your progress.

    Thanks.

Okay. This is a bit weird. I had so many site permissions, and that should be the cause to let Microsoft Edge freeze for a long period of its time. So, I erased all site permissions from Microsoft Edge.

    Site Permissions are sometimes necessary.
    And the result is?

    Over 1,700 site permissions.

Also, Microsoft Edge is running normally. Thanks for some advice.

Glad to hear that but 1700 Site Permissions - why?

"Not the other programs" meaning including extensions ? Disable your extensions and AV to see if difference.

There are a few ppl here who detest Edge. Search for their posts on action they have taken and ask for club membership.

Srsly, good luck in resolving the issue.

I do not think that the running extensions are the issue, even though I did disable a few extensions. The issue that I had was so many site permissions. Thanks for the advice.
