Firefox, Edge only when necessary, Chromium [not Google Chrome], SeaMonkey [has built-in E-Mail Client], Vivaldi.
Not all on same computer but 2 or more of those listed on each computer.

I've been using Firefox on my Dell super computer for a few days now, it seems to working quite well. I tried it about a year ago, and things got out of hand, so I removed it. So hopefully it can stay onboard.

    Brave, with extensions
    - Adblock Plus
    - Ublock Origin
    - DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials (also changes the default search engine to DuckDuckGo)

    Perfection.

    It's ridiculously configurable.
Agreed. I've been using Vivaldi as the default browser for a few years now and the customisability is what got me hooked. Once I configured everything to my liking there was no turning back.
I don't think I've browsed so fast with any other browser. I don't mean fast page load times, but getting around the web using the shortcuts and other features Vivaldi has to offer. Tiling tabs, displaying grouped tabs on the second tab bar and cycling through tabs with just a mouse scroll being some of my favourites.

I used to use mainly Firefox until I realised that Chrome was leaner and more stable. So I now use that. I'm committed to Google anyway for email and a few other apps that I use, so it makes sense for me just to continue like this. I have other browsers installed on my machine just for web dev testing, but other wise don't use them.

Which is the best browser for 2022? That's hardly an answerable question likely to elicit meaningful answers because it is too generalised. Best for what?

If you do a lot of web development that narrows it right down, as one usage niche. If all you do is mainly browse that's another usage niche with its own bunch of options, then there's ones best for gaming. Privacy is another niche, etc., etc., etc.

Then, on top of all that, there's that old chestnut, subjectivity. Horses for courses.
