I get daily nags in my Windows Search results about Edge. I hope the EU will save us from this Edge madness
FYI: @Ghot and @steve108 - I can confirm that with
security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling FALSE
security.ssl.enable_ocsp_must_staple FALSE
and
security.OCSP.enabled 0
the problem can be worked around, until Microsoft fix the issue. If you use a good A/V solution, such as Malwarebytes Premium, you should not be vulnerable (if you go to actual REAL bad sites). However, take great care if you only have the free version of Malwarebytes, as there is NO real-time protection.
NOTE - another poster stated that disabling the Firefox network setting DNS over HTTP (DOH) using Cloudflare, will fix this. However, I have tested that OpenDNS (208.67.222.222) works fine, as does 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare). Either active do NOT cause any problem, with the limited testing I have done so far.
I'm getting the same error when trying to visit the Microsoft Account page (https://account.microsoft.com/)
MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING
Now here's something interesting. Right now I'm doing a fresh install of Windows 10 Home 21H2 on a new PC, which is connected to the internet. Normally during install it asks you to sign in or create a Microsoft account. But now that screen doesn't come up and instead I'm forced to create a local account. My bet is that these issues are related and possibly a problem with some MS servers.

This "tool" is called whynotwin11 and will give you a clear result of if your operating system could actually support it or not.
No Microsoft no how. Everybody haffy ??? Was going to upload screen shot but I have to disable my shields which leads me to a blank screen ( No Script is doing it's job )
..............
Alright here is the deal.
1. New Edge is Chrome
2. Google owns Chrome and or made Chrome ??
3. Meaning if Chrome has backdoors it could be a threat ??
4. Google works with law enforcement.
5. Chrome most common ( only game in town ) HTML5 browser that works
6. Brave and Samsung Browsers are both Chrome.
7. To use duckduckgo in privacy you need to install the add-on,
8. To use a Mozzila browser with some privacy you should get no-scripts.
9. Brave and Vervidi ( whatever ???? ) both have privacy options.
10. Tor Browser has some privacy options similar to VPN servers.
..................
I will be honest I just searched it, I probably got it from another place.
