    Disable auto update on Edge Chromium template setting cannot be found!


    Microsoft Edge Chromium unfortunately auto installed in my Windows 10 1903 system against my will.
    The last time I did this, I was getting this MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.exe to continuously run in my Task Manager.

    At that time I uninstalled Edge. But now it is ingrained in Windows 10 and can no longer be removed.
    I looked at this setting here as described. Disable auto update on Edge browser installed on windows server 2019 - Stack Overflow They say that after you install the template, you will have this option..

    Unfortunately, I cannot find this setting in my template to disable Microsoft Edge Chromium auto-update!!!

    How do I retrieve this setting?

    Unfortunately the Template does not have en-GB there's only en-US so I am stuck!! The mechanism doesn't work. Even when I try to set the setting to disabled, it doesn't reflect because my browser version is en-GB!

    What are Microsoft thinking? When I check the Edge Chromium updater it is still auto-searching for the update. It doesn't show disabled. So this template isn't actually working due to lack of en-GB language option.

    Not sure this is the answer, but there are tutorials on how to disable Edge in the Tutorial Section in the above header.
