Ask Before Closing Multiple Tabs in Chromium based Edge

    Hi Shawn,
I need your help as usual!

I am on the Chromium based Edge, Version 96.0.1054.34 (Official build) (64-bit).
When I go to Settings > Appearance, the option to turn the Ask Before Closing Multiple Tabs ON/OFF is not there.

My first question: is this feature included in the Official version of Edge that I am using?

If yes, my second question: is there a Registry key to ENABLE/DISABLE (as opposed to ON/OFF) this feature?

Side note: I am aware that it was introduced in the Canary channel starting with build 89.0.739.0, and you could go to edge://flags and enable the feature there. In my version of Edge, this feature is not listed under edge://flags, and I am not sure whether this is because I am not in the Canary channel, or that it is already included in the Official channel.

    Thank you in advance.

    Thank you!

There are tens of posts on the internet showing this switch under Zoom, which is where I looked and did not see it. I guess I did not scroll all the way down to Customize browser which is where the switch is!

In any case, thank you again!

No Probs. Just another example of Microsoft's intransigence in burying basic user setting changes they don't want users to access. Every new edition of some aspect of the system, one or more change options for something, somewhere in the system, get buried even deeper and deeper. Microsoft will have its own way (or so it thinks .... !!)
