My ISP refuses to admit they are behind this but i know it's them for several reasons.
Then contact them again and tell them what those reasons are.

Several times a day i get a pop up banner in my browser telling me my data use is getting close to the 200GB limit. Problem is, it does this every day regardless of how much data i used. It could be the first day of the monthly cycle and i've used less than 1 GB of my 200 and it still pops up.
This behaviour persuades me that these are spoof adverts being generated in your browser and are nothing to do with your ISP.

    Best of luck,

A rep from my ISP as much as admitted to me it is them and told me theres nothing they can do about it because thats just the way it works.
Too easy a cop-out explanation. And you mentioned earlier that your ISP refused to accept it was them. So who's right?

You have to be a little circumspect about such advice - was it really a "rep" or just someone in a farmed out (by your ISP) troubleshooting call-centre who was reading off a standard (so called) problem-solving cheat sheet with standard answers.

Test the pop-up with other browsers.
