    Favorites

With this last update I lost all of my favorites again. Why can't msn use the same fav programs as W7 & W8. I think the W10 favorites is lousy sloppy setup to say the least.

There is a import function for Edge, to import favorites from IE. Have you tried that ?

    Hello enigma,

If you mean for Microsoft Edge, then see if this may help. :)

    Enigma,

Please give more details on what you mean by nothing works in favorites.

Where and how are you trying to import your Favorites from?

I used the method you suggested but it doesn't function.

As far as the imports I have read so many changes on W10 I can't remember sorry. Maybe it was a tutorial or a suggestion

    Brink

Thanks for all your answers. Part of my problem is I am running W10 on two different setups. The first is a regular desktop with tower etc. and the second is a All in One. The desktop for some reason runs much faster than the AIOeven though they are both 2.1Ghz

Another difference is my email candidates appear on the bottom left of the start menu on the desktop but nothing the same on the AIO

I just finished your tutorial on importing favs on the desktop from IE and it only selected about 40%. I was using W8.1 when I updated to W10. No big deal I remember most of those that I really needed

I still can not use the favs using your tutorial on the desktop but I have no problem with the AIO

    Thanks again for your assistance.

In that case for the desktop, you might wipe out the favorites in Edge to start over fresh.

Afterwards, see if you may be able to import them.

Lost all my fav's with the latest update also. Why does "Edge" do that in the first place? I update FF and Cyberfox with new version numbers all the time, Favorites remain as does the web page I was on before the update and restart...... I am tired of re-importing!

In the mean time, since my Fav's are in HTML format, I have that file pasted to the desktop and use that to get around on the web. :O)
