Recurrent crashing of specific Edge service

I noticed quite a few Apphang instances of the so called "PWA Identity Proxy Host" in the Windows Reliability Monitor. It seems to be tied to Edge since the path of the faulting application is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\95.0.1020.40\identity_helper.exe

I'm using Edge Version 95.0.1020.40 on Windows 21H1.

Anyone else noticing these instances in the Reliability Monitor?

I googled since I had never heard the term. Check link.

Wouldn't be concerned unless you use the apps. Seems to be one of MSN programs that will often cause an error reading.

Thanks for the info. So you're not seeing these entries in your reliability monitor of Windows?

Data viewer here says 3 times in the last month, data has been sent to MS, and they will be on it 24/7.
One of the newer features of Edge.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know Data viewer. So you're saying you're having the exact same MoAppHang entry of this PWA Identity Proxy Host?

No, have not had the issue.

Not to be naive about your issue, but consider making a report to MSN as did Helmut in post #4.

It has been my experience that unless an event is causing performance issues do not be concerned. Did you review your system for any apps that may be at fault ?

No my mother's computer does the same thing and it's brand new so probably some sort of bug no biggie-))
