    Gmail PW recovery

I have had a gmail account for years, but when I went sign-in on a new PC, it does NOT like my password.

Yes I think I can get the PW restored. I am not sure how to do that. Can someone give me a step by step procedure on how to recover my gmail password.

    Thanks

NirSoft has a utility that might help you.
Recover lost / forgotten Gmail password
I’ve never used it so I can’t attest to it's efficacy.

SoFine409 - I tried to run "mailpv" but this stupid antivirus (McAfee) saw the file as a virus and deleted it. I have no idea how to temperarily turn the dang thing off. I will glad when the 30 day free trial is up.

You could go to Settings, Apps, and uninstall it. Windows Defender will take over and may let you run the utility.
