Can't search from In Google Search Panel in my Firefox Web Browser

I Can no longer Type Inside the Google Search Panel in my Firefox Web Browser’ Google is my Default Search In Tools > Settings and Firefox is my Default Browser also. I can only Type into the Google Search box in the Toolbar
&
I Can’t Select Multiple flies Using Shift or Ctrl? I suspect this is related the Mouse Pointer walks's up the Page for a few seconds after a Copy and Paste or any such action
Has anyone got any Idea’s Please? Dasha

Hi, try Firefox's Safe Mode.
(Google if unsure how).

Does the browser work properly then?

Do you mean in file explorer?

Try a clean boot (Google or see tenforums tutorial if unsure how.

History: (almost never given by posters):
- how long ago did this start?
- did both start at the same time?
- what happened just before this? E.g. installation, change, update...

Have you run an AV check?
Have you tried using a System Restore point or restoring a disk image you previously created?

Create a new user for test purposes. Log in as that user. Advise if you see the same things or not.

Tried a new/different mouse?

Thanks dalchina I only run Win Defender I have never recoved from the Clean Instal ove a month ago everbody has about 40 different opinion's and word infleactions on describing how they did it on how so far not much Joy as I have wwritte A clean install will only put me right back here aginif you go to the Old post I have detailed whats happene to me and Many other's

I don't or didn't quote that to anyone menting your assistance etc but I can assure you I cant just find them now, but I have all of my Posts saved in Word Doc''s? I will hunt it up for you if you wish? In this thread I'm simply pointing out you may have confused my suggestion of trying a

clean boot

with a

clean install.

However, as you say, in a different thread, I did note you seem to be experiencing numerous issues...
