Microsoft Edge Keeps Switching from Inactive to Active by a New Tab

When Microsoft Edge opens a new tab automatically, it keeps switching itself from inactive to active. I want Microsoft Edge to stay inactive, so I would not be interrupted by Microsoft Edge. Are there any settings to let Microsoft Edge stay inactive?
