    How to add an email account to Outlook.com


    I am trying switch from Office 365 Outlook to the web based outlook.com (outlook.live.com) but cannot find a way to add my two cox.mail accounts to Outlook.com. Most all of the instructions I find on the web seem to be based on the following.

    How to Create a New Outlook Email Account Open a web browser, go to the Outlook.com sign-up screen, and select Create free account.

    I can't find the Outlook.com sign-up screen!

    Please, someone help be add my two email accounts to Outlook.Com.

    While we are at it, what is the difference between plain old Outlook.Com and Outlook.live.com?

    The history of Webmail and Microsoft is that it first was Hotmail then came Outlook.com which was supposed to replace Hotmail. I've had Hotmail for a number of years [20+] then to test Outlook.com got a second address. Both finally merged into Outlook – free personal email and calendar from Microsoft. None of this is the installed Outlook E-Mail Client of Microsoft Office.

    I also have 2 other E-Mail addresses, one is with my ISP and the other is with my Domain Hosting service. All that is needed with them is to get to their home page, find the E-Mail login in and use the signup, usually the E-Mail address and password. The nice part is I can access both accounts from any computer I happen to be on, POP3, SMTP and IMAP are not needed.

    It appears you can no longer do this...

    I think you need to use the Windows 10 Mail App.

    The ability to create an account is no longer on their main page.
