    Firefox Drop Down Menu Color

I upgraded my Firefox browser today from 88.0.1 to 91.0.2 and now my drop down menus have a black background with white text.Is there a way to have the dark theme but have the menus with a white background and black text like I had before with my older version of FF.

The only black with white text I get on the latest is Help, About, rest haven't changed over several Version upgrades. Other colors are taken from the Theme I have in Windows.

My menu like bookmarks.history, tools all of them are black background with white text.My old version 88.0.1 had it in reverse with white background and black text the way I like it.Just upgrading to the newest version switched it around.Oh well I guess I will have to get used to it...

You may have to explore the rabbit hole uncovered here

It annoys the hell out of me that I have to jump through such hoops to get FF (i) looking like it used to, but more importantly (ii) looking sensible. I have no idea what prompted the designers to adop the silly double spaced rows in all the menu items, but it makes my bookmarks fall off the screen.

A word of warning: that thread involves some complex messing about with FF configuration - and you must set the first preference identified in the .css file:
    'about:config > toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets > true'

I only wanted a few of the tweaks on offer, and intend to create a slimmed-down css file with just those items, but have yet to do so - there are 647 lines in my file at the moment. I would like the big, round 'back' button back, but have yet to explore if that is possible.

I suppose that is what you get when the whole thing is free - for which I thank Mozilla, even if I am annoyed at them. hth, Martin
