That's interesting. I can only imagine that it has something to do with the Lepton UI coding, as that older code (with or without the space adjustment) no longer works for me on either LibreWolf 121 or Firefox 121.

But as long as it works for you with Lepton, that's all that matters :)

Great, then I'm glad I said something about spacing.

I stumbled across this list of Firefoxes About: pages today.
    It's at
    Code:
    about:about
My shortcut to Firefox about pages
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" about:about
There are explanations of some of the entries at
    about URI scheme - Wikipedia

Perhaps everybody else already knew about this but it was news to me,
    Denis

    No worries Denis.

There's a wealth of info in about : about, I've had it bookmarked for awhile now looking for clues about why FF was acting up, here it was the websites that weren't built right.

Other URL's which some may find useful:

To open History/Bookmarks Library in a tab instead of a separate window use this URL.
    chrome://browser/content/places/places.xhtml

Open the History Sidebar or Bookmarks Sidebar as a tab.
    chrome://browser/content/places/historySidebar.xhtml
    or
    chrome://browser/content/places/bookmarksSidebar.xhtml

For those who use userChrome.css to modify Firefox, you can quickly view some parts of the default layout using this url:
    chrome://browser/content/browser.xhtml

Thanks das10, gottem all bookmarked, it's much nicer opening history in tabs rather than a window, you don't know how many times I saw the history window after I closed FF.
And like you said about the layout one to check after modifying the userChrome.css.

Info only: Firefox - show tab preview when hovering over individual tabs.

    Code:
    about:config

    browser.tabs.cardPreview.enabled true
    browser.tabs.cardPreview.showThumbnails true

To change the default delay (in msec.) before tab preview is shown on hover, change the value for this preference:
    browser.tabs.cardPreview.delayMs

Sounds like you messed up Firefox to me ....should have tried a clean install. My FF is Very fast, always has been.
I've tried to completely remove MS Edge many times ....hate it, but MS won't let me remove it. So I have it disabled.
    Good luck using Edge ....LoL
