NOTE: I don't actuallu use Firefox so some of these preferences might not exist. I prefer to use LibreWolf (browser) but configuration and usage is another topic.
I use uBlock Origin, I experienced the ad-blocker warning yesterday.
I like to watch trains from all around the world and I have a set of eleven bookmarks in one folder that I can open all at once, You should have seen my dismay when I had to clear the first one and then the next ten, but users of ad-blockers know that feeling very well.
I added YT Siphon and all my YT's are back to 'normal'. FF v118.0.2
Ghot, thank you for your vigilance!
Just an FYI. That extension seems to make use of:
Piped
https://piped.video
scroll down to instance list.
which in turn appears to be mostly using invidious instances:
Invidious Instances
Personally I'd rather just browse via invidious rather than use an extension. Or if subscribing to channels without an account proxy invidious via FreeTube client.
FreeTube - The Private YouTube Client
It's just how I like to browse YouTube
