Unable to stream Netflix in 4K

I just got a new 4k monitor and I was excited to try out Netflix streaming in 4k but all the titles continue to show only in HD.

- My ISP is Google Fiber, have plenty of bandwidth and 4K works fine on my TV
- Tried on both Microsoft Edge and the Windows Netflix App
- Downloaded and installed latest drivers on monitor & GPU
- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3960X CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
- Windows 10 - OS Build: 19042.1165

Display information reported by Windows 10:
VX2776-4K-mhd (connected to NVIDIA GeForce GTS 980 Ti)
Desktop resolution: 3840 x 2160
Active Signal resolution: 3840 x 2160

Any ideas as to why I can't get a 4k signal? I made sure my monitor is HDCP 2.2 and also installed the HEVC Video Extensions from the Microsoft store.

Are you paying for the Netflix tier that offers 4k streaming?

oops, nevermind...you said it works fine on your TV, so you must be.

Is it that the Netflix app doesnt' show them as available to view in 4k, or are they showing as 4k in the menus, but not appearing as 4k on your monitor.

Yeah I have the Ultra plan. They do not show them as available to view in 4k, all the shows that I know support 4k only show as "HD" in the menus.

Netflix has a help page that discusses some troubleshooting if the 4k content is not showing up and they have a link for Windows 10.

Thanks, yeah I went through all of those steps. Looks like my only option is to contact Netflix directly. Just wish there was an option to submit a ticket rather than call or chat.
