In late June, after having gotten a new Dell Inspiron 3880 PC, I downloaded and installed AOL Desktop Gold (Rev. 11.0.3316), and unfortunately one important thing on it doesn't work at all - the "Settings" button. Whenever I click on it, nothing happens, and if I try clicking on it again, all I get is a large blank window (in all black) that doesn't allow me to do anything. I would very much appreciate any help whatsoever - THANKS very much!
I believe AOL Desktop Gold is subscription software, is that correct? If so I'd give AOL Support a call and see if they can sort it out for you.
I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I had already tried calling a few different AOL technical support and/or customer service numbers, and I had trouble reaching them (even during their regular service hours), with lengthy waiting times possible or even probable. AOL has quite a horrible reputation for so many things (such as tech. support & customer service), and unfortunately I don't know of any ways that I could e-mail them about my problem either.
