Issue with "Flags" in Edge Chromium v91.0.864.70 (Stable)

    Hi,

No flags work in current version of Edge (Win 21H1 x64). Does anyone has this problem?!

I have changed "Ask Before Closing Multiple Tabs" flag and after Edge restart (Startup boost is disabled) it does not work. Also have enabled "Password import" but just have "Export" there!

Just to confirm that for me (Version 91.0.864.71 (Official build) (64-bit)), both flags appear to be working. For the Multiple Tabs Setting, I also went to Settings > Appearance and enabled "Ask before closing multiple tabs" and duly got the message if I wanted to Close all tabs when I closed Edge.

    Thanks for information!

After update to version 91.0.864.71 (Official build), "Close all tabs" warning option is there! But "Import passwords" isn't available yet (I have just "Export passwords" option there)!

I get the import passwords at Settings > Profiles > Saved Passwords (like below):

(Sorry, is that the same Settings location as your image shows ?)

Many thanks. Your SS shows it's not about "Flag"! Why it doesn't work for me?! It was OK before update (Edge). I didn't do anything with Edge or Settings.

Yes, that is exact Settings section (location) as yours! (You can check my both "Flags" and "Pass" Settings in SS below (all Flags work except "password import"!):

Yes, that is odd. I wanted to do a further test, so I disabled the import passwords flag, re-started Edge and the option to import passwords is still there in Settings !

… Thanks for the "Test". I have disabled "Startup boost" (Settings>System) to ensure Edge is completely restart (not like Windows Hybrid mode, Edge process being in background while restarting).

How can I troubleshoot this?! I don't want to reset Edge … How to find out root of the problem?

I had clean install Windows past week.

Sorry I don't have any direct answer for that, but in the mean time, hopefully you may be able to at least import passwords if you go through "Import browser data"and then choosing Passwords CSV File ?

I didn't mean you are the problem. I just said that to M$! (How can troubleshoot with no clue where to start troubleshooting!)

This option would be available if the "Flag" works, but because my "password import" Flag does not work, it would not be available there (I have just two options below).

I know you don't want to completely reset Edge from Settings, but if you are doing regular System Backup Images then you might consider the possibility of Repairing Edge, which 'might' resolve the problem at hand.

Just in case you don't know, you go to "Apps & Features", click on "Microsoft Edge" > Modify and then choose Repair.
