    is there a way to recover a deleted Gmail deleted in the trash today?

    Trying logging in to gmail online and peruse the All Mail folder. I have thousands of supposedly deleted emails in that folder.

    Log in to your Gmail account via a Web Browser and have a look.
    Go through Settings for Labels and adjust the Label list and show in IMAP.

    Somewhere in there should be how long things are kept in Trash/Bin etc.

    Helmut and Steve are right: Your very best chance is in GMail online. I often find that I have 500, 1000, or more deleted messages in my Trash there, even though I try to empty all but the last few days' trash once a month.

Has anyone got Gmail to work in Mail ? My other accounts work and I get my emails in OK but I've tried setting it as POP and IMAP but to start with it told me that it wasn't available, via a line along the top. Thought I'd try here before...
