Legacy Edge - any way to install in newer 10 builds?

So I upgraded from 1903 to 2009 build 19043.906. 1903 had legacy Edge. Microsoft scrubbed all legacy Edge downloads from their site and it seems anywhere else on the internet because they want to force everyone onto Chredge. I'm already using another Chromium based browser (Brave) so am simply not interested in Chredge.

I did copy 2 subdirectories for Legacy Edge to my 2009 PC but when I click on the executable nothing happens. Is there any way to get Legacy Edge working on newer builds?

Thanks, I thought as much since Microsoft wants everyone on Chredge. I wish it would throw an error message when I try to launch Legacy Edge (can't find misc.dll etc.) but nothing happens. Not a big deal. The ironic thing is that MS no longer supports IE11 but that is still included with newer builds of Windows 10.

It's in the same situation as IE now, ie. unsupported.

Anything you don't particularly like about new Edge?

Why you using DOS 6.22 Windows for Workgroups 3.11 on your main PC ClippyBeer? It's badly outdated unsupported operating system

Other than the fact that it's just another Chrome browser?

I use several unsupported operating systems. I've got Windows XP and 7, both connected to the internet with no updates or AV installed. My Windows 10 PC have updates and Defender disabled. They all run perfectly.

Admittedly, I don't own any hardware capable of running DOS 6.22/ Windows for Workgroups 3.11. I can still run it though.

It's much more than Chrome, Microsoft have made it faster and have added some genuinely useful features.
