Chromium problems with Volume Mixer

    Found reported registry key. Deleted it and launched Edge to play audio. Edge appears in volume mixer and registry key is re-created. If Edge is closed it vanishes from volume mixer.

    All my apps and devices maintain their settings, even after a reboot. I'm not installing Edge!

    Same for me but Edge volume setting doesn't stick once Edge is closed. It's not something that bothers me as I don't mind setting volume if I need to. Which is hardly ever since I rarely use Edge except when streaming movies. Then I use that EQ addon.

    Strange that it sticks for some but not others. As it's too trifling an issue to do a Repair Install, i'll write it off as one of those things. Perhaps the next Feature Update will resolve whatever the issue is. Missing files/keys or whatever.

Open Volume Mixer By Default

Windows 10 opens to a single slider, perfect for touch screens, but I want the mixer back. As it is right now I have to right click to open it. How can I make it default.
