I've used Bing Home page in Edge for quite awhile. Today I noticed a scroll bar on the right side of picture. I scrolled down and all this garbage was displayed. I've high lighted the areas in question. Edge is up to date and don't think it's related to Fat Tuesdays' CU. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this? If not, I'll just change Home Page.
Thanks for the reply Edwin, but as you can see, the garbage is still there. I'll wait a couple days as it sometimes takes a while to take effect.
I've been puzzled for a while about this Bing home page in Edge, as the default home page is customisable but not changeable until I found this horrible link, Make Bing My Homepage – How to Change Homepage Settings. So I ran it and sure enough had that crappy home page and it even tried to change Firefox's home page. Could not find a way to get back to the default except to reset settings in Edge. Maybe others can find it. After the reset had to change spelling settings, re-enable extensions and the home page settings back to my preferences. Now back to the proper homepage:
I, too, do not like the way the Bing homepage has the scrollbar. I don't think it used to. No matter what you turn off it's still there. I changed to DuckDuckGo, which doesn't have this problem. Neither does Google.
I'm really liking DuckDuckGo because it is so customizable, particularly the theme and appearance.
