Can't get needed help from ally bank

In the past, I could access my Ally Bank Account with either of my two PC's. I can still access the account on the OLD HP desktop PC with WIN7 Home Edition, Google Chrome browser. The newer HP Laptop with WIN10 (ver. 20H2), Google Chrome will not work now, even though it once did. I have tried to resolve the problem with Ally. They suggest changing browsers (I tried with Edge, Firefox, Chrome). They suggest clearing the cache, which I did. Then, silence. I go to the Login screen, user name, password and then it goes to:, or something similar and then just sets there forever. Does ANYONE have an idea how I can solve this problem? It appears to my pea-brain, something is inherent within the WIN10 or Settings on this HP Laptop PC. I will be grateful.

One more thought. I even tried to do a System Restore to a version I thought had worked. No luck

Hi, the long URL looks odd.. perhaps you are using a favourite to get there..

I think that long url might well contain your personal data since it is generated, as you say, after you have entered your login details.

I suggest you click on Edit post under your post and delete it.

I can not find an "edit" button.

Sure, there is an "edit" choice on this page. But, I don't see one on my original....above.

Pardon me, but I don't see an edit button. There is a "Quote" button near where the edit button is supposed to be????

Sometimes I have a similar problem - getting to my bank. Probably best to enter your bank's landing page, and proceed from there.

Go to the URL shown in my unacknowledged post #2. Report result.

The URL was not of my choosing. When I entered my bank username and password, this is where I was taken. And then nothing happened; the action just stopped.

    Thank you for your reply.

    You haven't commented on
    - why you felt forced to use it
    - whether you've bothered to use the one I found for you.

I enter exactly, the same steps on each of my two PC's. It works on the old HP desktop with WIN7 Home Premium, Chrome browser. It does not work with the HP Laptop with WIN10, Chrome browser. In each case, I start with the Bank's home page where it asks for my username & password. I have no control where it goes from there. The old PC takes me to my account information; the Laptop PC takes me to the URL that I mentioned and quits. It appears to me that there is a hidden setting of some sort in the Laptop PC that does not like me. One last important comment: It worked previously for several weeks and now it does not. I also did a System Restore to the earliest date I could find and this did not correct the problem.
