Seems you're just repeating what you've already said, and are not prepared to take the standard bank recommended step of going directly to the site.
I will simply wish you good luck therefore.

I had been using the address, that you suggested, for Ally Bank on every attempt "from the beginning" before I ever asked for help. Sorry I did not make that clear.

I have no problem accessing the Ally Bank site on either PC. It does not go to my account on the Laptop but does go to my account on the desktop PC.
Might somebody in the
Ally Community
be able to guide you?
Sorry. It is not what its name implied.

Tried them first. They made a "ticket". Either they couldn't or wouldn't help. That is why I came here.
Try running the Network troubleshooter on the laptop. Press the Windows and "R" keys simultaneously, type or paste
"msdt /id NetworkDiagnosticsWeb" and click "OK". Some people have noticed slow internet after upgrading to 20H2. Also, if you have an ethernet cable, you might try disabling Wi-Fi on the laptop and connecting with the cable. If that works, at least you know that the problem is with the Wi-Fi and not the browser.

Thanks Ben, I executed both suggestions. Trouble shooter said it could not identify the problem. Also hooked directly with Ethernet cable. No change. I do not have a problem accessing the internet or the Ally Bank page. The problem is after I type in my username and password, Ally does not take me to my Account. Only goes to a different URL, that others have suggested might contain my personal information, and remains on the screen doing nothing. So, one of the moderators kindly deleted that URL from this Thread.

Just to eliminate this possibility, take a look a the system HOSTS file to see if there are any entries in it that could cause a redirect of your URL.
The file is located in the path shown in the following pic. (Yours may say Local Disk C:, that's ok) You may have to accept Admin permission to actually get to it, and that's ok.
It can be opened with Notepad or any text editor.
Post a pic or copy/paste the contents here.
The contents of an empty standard HOSTS file looks like this:
Code:# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. # # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself. # 127.0.0.1 localhost # ::1 localhost
I occasionally have a similar issue with online banking, Santander bank, go to landing page, enter details, goes to blank page.
I have found simply refreshing the page loads the account page properly, this is with Edge. Most times it works straight away, though it might be worth you trying to refresh the page using the browsers refresh button.
Not sure if it is an issue at the bank end or with Edge but it has persisted across Win7 through 2016's Win10 up to 21H1.
