    ads on opera

So I've been using Opera for a long time on a recommendation I won't get ads , the type of ads when you open a Browser, such as chrome as I used before upon which a tab with an ad opened without me asking for it but now they problem has started with opera, with a site forluminetor opening a random ad on a new tab, another problem is it's autostart ad process, any help here? Also can anyone suggest me a good browser, which won't trouble me with a gazillion ads?

    Thank you

Opera has a built in adblocker, did you check the settings?

It looks that you actually need a popup blocker.

FYI, whenever your browser is updated, some settings may be returned to default.
That's another good reason to take control of browser & others apps update processes.

Look in the task scheduler and you will likely find a task that checks for updates.
Some browsers or other apps monopolize your bandwidth & system resources by checking for updates at every logon of a user. I've seen others that check every hour, that's just daft.

I've set most of my apps to update monthly and a few others to weekly. My machine, my choice.
