My home page has been the page that opens with edge, it has been that way for a long time, all of a sudden edge opens with the tab page, i have followed the videos on youtube and home page does not open with edge, i can click on home page and it goes there but it does not open with edge, my home page is duckduckgo, that is what i want to open when edge opens, help please
It works fine for me. No problem with setting home page or URL for new tab. Latest Edge. Default search engine is Qwant and new tab page is Qwant (controlled by new tab start page extension)
Some other users are reporting problems.
MS Edge startup page cannot be changed after 21H1
FYI. I never had this problem with latest Edge but try this possible solution.
MS Edge strange behavour
So as I posted in the other thread here about Edge behaviour, the version 91.xxxx update kept failing at 50%. Going to Settings app (main Windows settings) Aps section and choosing Microsoft Edge then Modify, Repair, Edge repaired itself, took less than 20 seconds, then on opening Edge it auto updated to version 91.xxxx.
Unlike others have posted, my home page was kept, new tab settings were kept, all favourites and remembered logins worked fine.
