    Open cmd as admin...
    cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\{YourVersionNumber}\Installer"

    Now run...
    setup.exe --uninstall --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstall

Done...get your version number by checking that location in file explorer, can't remember what mine was i already deleted it. Make sure you cd with quotes otherwise it'll leave the empty folder after.
    Thanks for your reply

It is the way i uninstall edge chromium after clean install

    :: Uninstall Microsoft Edge
    cd %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Microsoft\Edge\Application\8*\Installer
    setup --uninstall --force-uninstall --system-level

Now it is on version 90.0.818.56
It is why i cannot uninstall lol
I have just changed the version number it is ok now.

Yeah that works but doing that leaves an empty folder behind which coincidentally is why this update was failing for us...if you use cmd as admin and just run...with quotes.

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\90.0.818.56\Installer\setup.exe" --uninstall --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstall

It'll remove the folder as well and that was actually what was stopping this update, deleting that folder is all we really had to do...there's a decent write up on it here.
Try this if you are getting error code 0x800f0922 on Windows 10 - gHacks Tech News

I am not sure if i deleted this folder behind before the update, I do not remember.

So we do not have to install edge again, just erasing that folder would fix the problem,
I will update my bat file for erase that empty folder after uninstall procsess

    Thanks for sharing this too.

For me, the .Net update KB4601554 also failed for the same reason (same error code).

But yeah, no need to install Edge. Deleting the folder works fine (I deleted the whole Microsoft folder inside Program Files (x86), because it was only used for Edge anyway).

Not having any issue with Edge but some automatic link opening still want to use Internet Explorer. If I want to uninstall some things that installed with Win10 I have to be careful as apps will be reinstalled with each twice-annual Version Upgrades and most customizations like Registry entries will get set back to their Default. Microsoft just hasn't gotten all things pointing to Edge just like they changed the name of Windows Explorer to File Explorer but not everything has changed yet, still have write.exe which calls WordPad, Write was the same type word processor program back in Win3.x of the '90s and earlier.
