Mail will not open

    Mail will not open


    Windows 10 ver 19042.631

    Hi All

    So... booted up the computer this morning went to Mail, and it just flikered on screen and failled to open.
    I have spent most of the day trying to fix this, Event viewer say this whenever i try to run mail:

    The server microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_16005.13426.20920.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!microsoft.windowslive.mai l did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

    I have also just done a Windows 10 repair which completed, but made no difference.

    Anyone have any thoughts at all.

    Try to reset the app itself under advanced options. Mail will not open-image.png

    hmm

    Updated windows error has changed slightly now getting:

    The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID Windows.SecurityCenter.WscBrokerManager and APPID Unavailable to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    well it's 2:15 AM time for bed, hope someone has an anwser for this in the morning, please!

    Another day and no progress, still it's interesting to note i'm still getting notifications for email that have arrived!

    Silly App still won't open!
