Hmm, still not working. I noticed that the first time you open a New tab (or after deleting the cookies), Edge asks you to accept/select cookies. Did you perhaps accept all cookies/permissions at that moment?

Same here on fresh 21H1-install. Deleted cookies for msn.com, newtab then asks for permission, tried granting and not granting. Also created new profile. None of it resulted in shortcuts staying uncollapsed on newtab.

    Tried in Canary-build: Same result.

Thanks for verifying. I have replied in that thread as well but unfortunately these Microsoft Advisors don't say anything helpful. I have also sent a feedback through Edge itself.

Perhaps it's best if you do this as well to make them more aware of the issue.

Update: When newtab is set to English, it works as desired. When set to Dutch, it doesn't remember the state of (un)collapse.

You have narrowed it down to a language-specific issue. Time to send feedback to the Edge team, Alt+Shift+i in Edge.....

Out of curiosity to send a feedback. Does this issue also happen at your end when Edge is set to Dutch?

I have tried about a dozen different languages now. The only one to display this issue is the Dutch one.....

Thanks for testing. I have sent a feedback. Very peculiar that this bug is caused by a language setting.
