    Downloading files with FireFox

FF vr. 87.0. For the last week or so, when I see a link to download a file, a single click appears not to respond. Several clicks again on the same link give no indication of anything downloading. To my surprise, every click does in fact download the file. Usually there is an option that pops up and asks if you want to open the file or save it. Not any longer for me, it just saves the file. Is this a new "feature"??

In the FF options type downloads in the search > tick the box next to "Always ask you where to save files."
    That should fix it.

Normally you can see in FF bar at the bottom it changing colour as it downloads or just look in tools downloads

Thanks that did it. One of the updates might have switched that off.
