    Two Microsoft Edge versions

I read some time ago that Windows 10 was going to ditch the so-called Microsoft Edge Legacy to install the new Microsoft Edge.

I'm now with Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042.870 and today I found in Revo Uninstaller Pro that I still have two versions of Edge.

    Revo - All Programs

    Revo - Windows Apps

It's so confusing! What do you say? Which one I can uninstall?

    TIA.

Ok, I just restored from my .870 backup to check this out.
After the .906 update, this is what we will all be left with. New Edge in the programs, and the "bones" of the old Edge left in the Apps, in Revo.
It may have happened earlier, but I was always removing the new Edge when MS installed it again.

Sorry, I didn't understand that. You mean you uninstalled the new Edge and it came back automatically?

Yeah... every now and then MS sends it out as an update, again.
This time, it seems I have to keep it. Because it removes the OLD Edge.

Things that have changed this time...

    1. As you mentioned...it left a new entry in Revo Apps. Never did that before.
    2. As MS promised (at least this time), it hasn't tried to grab "default" away from Firefox.

At least for now, I'm gonna leave things as they are. I don't use Edge, at all.
I may try to remove it again, at some later time.

I believe 21H1 will remove legacy Edge completely. Currently as others have found there’s still remnants of this on PCs.
