Lately edge gives restore page when reopening, i have waited as long as 15 seconds before shutting down computer, it still want to restore page when i start computer and open edge, this has only been happening for about 2 weeks, no changes on computer, latest update, windows 10
hello, have you tried clearing ALL history?
Settings -> Privacy, Search and services -> choose what to clear
If you log into edge, have you tried to log out, restart browser and log in back?
Did you close edge prior to shutdown or left edge open?i have waited as long as 15 seconds before shutting down computer
If you leave it open there is likely issue with Windows shutting down, which may trigger edge to ask for restore because it thinks OS was not properly shut down.
Check zebal's advice about closing Edge.
Other browsers work ok ? If Edge is only browser, may want to download another to see if same result.
Also check Event Viewer and Windows Reliability History to see if any entries/codes. And check your internet speed.
