MSEdge – how to disable as default PDF viewer

After some last Windows10 update the MSEdge was set as the default PDF files viewer. When I switch it back to Acrobat, it returns again as before. I tried it more times using the right mouse with checked option, in settings/default apps by file type, nothing helps. No option to see the Edge setting. Can it be set somehow?
OR – how to get rid completely that loutish sw? Normal way doesn’t work…
    Thanks for any advice

    Didn't test but I think it's this:

And also this in Settings -> Apps -> Choose by file type:

Choose Default Apps in Windows 10

I've been using Foxit PDF reader for some time, maybe try and see if you like it better than Adobe PDF reader.

well, issue resolved - reinstalled Edge, instead of v87, last one 89.0.774.54. thx for reactions.
Foxit PDFReader is ok too, but i prefer that one.
