How to remove the Edge Browser from Windows 10 Pro

I would like to remove Microsoft's Edge Browser form my computer. I have no use for it, I am hard core Firefox user and it seems every time I click on link in web page, it open in Edge. I have went and set Firefox as the preferred web browser and all. I just want that most annoying program off of my hard drive Does anyone have any idea how to remove it?
I am Running Windows 10 Pro, just installed maybe 2 days ago

I thought of doing the same but squashed it, may just come back at the next Version Upgrade done twice-yearly. A couple of things may be important, one is that Internet Explorer is going away and there's probably a lot of Web sites that haven't yet changed things in their pages that call for the default Windows browser regardless of users' settings. If I don't inadvertently want I program to open from the desktop or Taskbar I delete or Unpin it, can remove from the Tiles.

I feel the same. I got rid of it and prevented it from coming back.

You can't remove the OLD Edge. Doing so will break Windows Update.
