Is there a *easy* way to create a Desktop Shortcut in Edge?

    @Callender -

    Got it to work in Edge Chromium.

    Has some weird idiosyncrasies that need to be ironed out in this release:

    1) With Edge set to the default browser you can click "Create Shortcut" from the context menu but the extension always asks for permission.
    2) When given permission, it saves it in your Download folder by default. You can do a Save As but it's another mouse click.

    I will contact the developer to possibly address these issues. i.e., no prompt for permission and a settable default location for the shortcut creation.

    Well done, thanks!

    Wow. It didn't work for me at all in Vivaldi. I don't know how to overcome the permissions issue.

    From the developer - you can contact he/she regarding Vivaldi:

    "It works on Chromium based Edge as well (Actually I use this extension both on Chrome and Edge)."

    Here is the developer's email - I already submitted my suggestions as above:

    tackn.jp@gmail.com

    I also asked that it be listed on the Microsoft Edge extension page.
