Stopping spam from google, youtube, etc.

I just want to add one of my concerns...
Be careful how you deal with popups that ask you accept something, ex. legal stuff, cookies etc.

While blocking them is possible you may end up much worse than before without even knowing it, since you never accept or review your options, rights or whatever (because it was blocked and not processed) that means site is probably free to collect any information they want by default including additional info to "troubleshoot the issue".

I think it's safer to log in to site and adjust your preferences and privacy options, at least you would know to what you agreed and don't have to degrade browser with addons.

I found a way to get rid of the miniplayer, that pops up everytime you click away from a playlist. You have to use this addon. The miniplayer will still be visible for a brief moment, but the addon gets rid of it again. There's some similar addons, but they don't seem to work.

Just add some extensions.

I use 3 uBlock Origin, Disconnect, and Malwarebytes Browser Guard

Try them.

I'm getting yet another message, which asks if you are satisfied with the videos you have been watching, with a list of smileys.

Please take a screenshot of this message, maybe you're dealing with spyware and not legal google adds.

It's a pretty standard message on youtube, it's not related to spyware i think. I will see if i can get a screengrab of it, but it only appears occasionally. Anyway, i found this addon, which seems to solve some of the problems.

I'm getting an annoying issue on youtube. Sometimes, there's a blue line that appears in the youtube player, which prevents me from scrolling up and down, plus it causes some of the buttons to not work correctly, e.g if i click on the pause button, the video continues to play. I'm not sure if this is a browser problem, a youtube problem or something else, but how do i get rid of it?
