im not really sure what that has to do with anything?
If you want a way to browse/ search/ play video on Youtube without the crap then it is a good solution.

EDIT: I mean it's a way to browse Youtube using an app rather than a browser.

If you want to use a browser then use an Invidious instance instead of actually visiting the Youtube website.

    Example:

    Code:
    https://invidious.kavin.rocks/feed/trending
    Code:
    https://invidious.kavin.rocks/feed/popular
Paste link into your browser then use the search box (top of the page)

I use Enhancer for YouTube (+Poper Blocker), so I do not know, what OP is talking about.

Is that 'poper' only for Chrome or can it be used on, say, Vivaldi ?? The enhancer software says only with Firefox

You can use it (poper) with Vivaldi. When it says "add to Chrome" it also means Chrome variants.

    Test here:

Test your pop-up killer here! Find out if it your popup blocker stops all popup windows.

Personally I don't use the extension.

EDIT: There's a Chrome version of YT Enhancer (same author) here:

    Enhancer for YouTube™

I tried it but like I already said I prefer to use Invidious or FreeTube rather than visiting the YT website directly.

Using the Test you pop up here, all it gives me is a survey of which browser I use, and of course, its none of the above. Being Vivaldi. I also find it strange that IE is still top of the charts with Mozilla only second. I thought IE was yesterdays news???

I use AdBlock in Firefox and never see an ad on YouTube. And I'm logged in with my Google account.

Thanks Cal, I did the test - all of them, and only test 12 produced a pop up, the remainder - nothing at all. I do actually use adblock plus (as mentioned up top) where ever possible I get no ads in FB, I think pop ups are blocked via Winaerotweak. I seem to be clean. Nothing on you tube either
