    Opera Browser

I have been using the Opera browser for over a year and up until recently it has worked fine. For some reason now, it does NOT open hardly any website. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to help.

    Any ideas?

See if you might have a browser add-on or 'hijack' that you didn't add. Download AdwCleaner and scan: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

I have checked for malware and every other thing I can think of.

Since I have a good vpn now (that was the reason for running Opera) I can use any browser. There are lots of them.

    Thanks for your input.

If you are using the built in VPN in the Opera browser go in and turn it off , save , close and then close browser and reopen and see if you can get to your websites . Who knows where Opera is routing that vpn . This will tell you if it is a problem with their vpn and routing or the vpn and your dns server . I use the latest version of Opera and have not seen any real problems . I tried the built in vpn and just found it slowed down the browser too much which most vpn's will do .

I have stopped using Opera. I find that other browsers work better without it.
