Store app "Mail and Calendar" totally not working with Gmail accounts.

It's been working in the past but recently but it has completely given up on Gmail. It hangs up in various (multiple) ways.

I tried to manually install Gmail (via "advanced" method in settings >> Manage accounts >> add account) then it works only in "Mail" side of the app (it doesn't automatically show up in the "calendar" side. And in "Calendar" you can't separately manually install the same account. If you instally the normal (non "advanced") way via Calendar then it does transfer into the email part of the app but it hangs. And when that happens everything stops or alternatively part of the app becomes inaccessable. Depends when it starts to hang I dunno.

Anyways in my case it happened when I intalled one gmail account and then another one. Not sure where the problem is related to just any Gmail account, my Gmail account, or the fact that I tried to add more than one gmail accounts (total 3). I can't even begin to know where the problem lies. And it's useless to use the app by manually installing it on the "mail" side of the app if the same account isn't connected to the calendar. I want all my emails connected to the calendar. That's one of the main reasons why one wants to use a desktop mail app in the first place.

Could be a problem with Gmail in your area, or your setting up.

You have to choose the sync required in the Manage Account settings and tick relevent boxes in Calendar.

It works OK in this part of the globe, including the Calendar. Though that is only up to 5 months ahead, after that a banner comes up at the top indicating missing info.

It is at least a year on other Accounts so presumably that's a Gmail thing.
